New ICSE/ISC English Literature Syllabus 2025: A Step towards NEP Compliance

The CISCE board has submitted a proposed new syllabus for English Literature to schools for review, for the academic year 2025. This aligns with the NEP which aims to revamp the education system in India. The new syllabus will focus on fostering critical thinking, creativity, and analytical skills among students and will encourage them to think independently and engage with a wide range of literary texts. The official syllabus for the new curriculum will be released soon.
